Our coffee is made by a perfect blend of Arabica & Robusta beans (the highest proportion being the very best quality Arabica bean) and is supplied by Drury of London. Such is the quality of the coffee beans, you will find it served in top Michelin star restaurants across London. Drury's coffee has over 70 years experience in blending and roasting the world's finest gourmet coffees.
Espresso coffee is Drury's passion and greatest field of expertise. The company roasted its first espresso in 1954 and, whilst the equipment may have changed, the passion for quality and freshness remains. Drurys remains a family-owned business.
Environmental Benefits
Drury, like Cafe Ho Sete, is a firm believer in the environmental benefits of supplying coffees roasted in the UK. Roasters worldwide buy from the same points of origin, but importing roasted coffee from a third party country (for example, Italy!) adds considerably to the carbon footprint of the coffee supply, in effect a "double-whammy" of transport. By buying its coffee roasted in the UK, Cafe Ho Sete can ensure its carbon footprint is minimised and it serves coffee that is only days after roasting; providing a coffee that is as fresh as it can be.
